Perks :)

Sorry for the late post everyone! I didn't want to wake up today and then it was off to work, where I actually got to stay longer than 3 hours at.

 

One of the perks of being a photographer is going to school with other photographers. Then getting those other photographers to be your friend. Then, after you graduate, using your teacher's photo studio to take pictures of yourself...just for fun.

 

That is exactly what my friend, Wade Vandervort, and I did a few weeks ago. Since I dyed my hair blonde and I'm thick as butter I thought to myself, 'Self...who else do we know that's blonde and has a body with more curves than corkscrew....?" And my self said "Duh, this lady..."

 

 

So we tried to do a Marilyn Monroe inspired shoot, didn't really happen since my hair is too long and Wade wasn't into it (creative conflicts), but here are the results :

 

Wade called the second pic (where you can't see my face) 'Goldie', and although a Sin City hottie isn't what I was imagining in my head, I'll definitely take the comparison!

 

Thank you to my dear friend Wade for taking so much time in his schedule to fulfill one of my whims, and to Checko Salgado for letting us use his studio.
