Cotton is the traditional 2nd anniversary gift. Because we have no money, my Dad took me to buy egyptian cotton sheets and....
A cotton candy maker!
That baby is NOT impressed.
We also went on a crazy shopping spree at Saver's with Theresa and Ophelia where I got 3 new(not so new) pairs of shoes and a dress for about $13....I know right?! Pics to follow soon for anyone interested in my Saver's haul.
But for now, just a picture of the baby mowin' the aisles at Saver's.
Then Theresa treated me to a vegetarian Capriotti's cole turkey sub, no pic to follow because it was devoured in seconds.
Ken and I went and saw the Life of Pi. I enjoyed it, he thought it was boring. However, before we went on our movie date he made me this delicious cotton(just kidding) alfredo broccoli pasta, and looked adorable.
This pasta making showed extra love for his wife since Ken was on his 11th day of the Master Cleanse....idiot.
Here is a blurry picture of me torturing Ken with how much I enjoyed his pasta. I have no problems with it being blurry since I had on zero make up and it blurs me into looking presentable.
Anywho, I promised to show a few pictures of our Christmas Shrub :
Here is is with all it's glory, and an angel that is almost half it's size.
Ken and I have a tradition to buy a Christmas ornament from wherever we are celebrating our anniversary. These doves are actually a decoration from our wedding....
....and this little lighthouse is from San Francisco, where we spent our honeymoon. We also have a little santa from last year's Lake Las Vegas romp, but I failed to pick one up yesterday at Saver's! Shhhh! Tell no one!
Time to go eat something before I have to start getting ready for work! Bye friends!
