The good news is that I found my camera battery charger! It was underneath a dresser (sorry for indicating the grandparents).
There's no bad news.
I thought I would talk a little bit about hair tonight...(by the way, sorry for all the late-night posts lately...it's just I wake up at noon and get ready for work...so nothing really happens until night time)
Anyway, these thoughts on hair were probably brought on because of talking to my beautiful bestie Lisette who's away studying hair right now (and who's arrival I can't wait for to play with my own hair)
In highschool, every girl I went to school with had this hair:
or this hair:
I'm not kidding.
Every girl seemed to know how to use a curling iron except for me, either that or they all had hairstylists for parents. Because of my lack of skill, my hair was usually worn straight and looked like this:
...or atleast I felt it did.
When the bravery did strike to try and curl my hair it would turn out something like this:
Only it wasn't freaking adorable because I was a 16 year old giant with a body of a 30 year old and it wasn't the 1930's. People noticed.
ANYWHO, I would like to make an announcement! "I am 23 years old and I finally figured out how to use a curling iron (I think)"
Now sure, my hair still looks a little closer to Ugly Betty than a Kardashian, but there is no longer that mark near the ends of my hair where the curler clamps down and leaves an impression, do you know what I mean? The tresses themselves are much looser, aw heck, here's a picture:
Ok! Ok! It looked way better this afternoon and it's been up in a ponytail because of work (mouth, what are you DOING???!!!)
Also I thought I would show you some of my hair dreams:
Don't worry(mom) nothing this cool is allowed at my place of tropical business :/
I will keep you updated on the hair progress everyone if you're not already asleep. Love you all, and goodnight.
