I love cloudy days!!

Well, I took four advilPMs last night (don't worry everyone, it was two sets of two spread apart), and I STILL fell asleep at 4 am. On the up side, the lovely baby woke me up at 7:30 with her soft little voice, and once I know the Melancon girls are up, it's hard to fall back asleep.

 

Also, I was supernerdyexcited about getting started on pictures for this blog!

 

So here are some of my little adventures/thoughts/little happenings today, so far....

                                                These darn grapfruit will never be ripe!!!

                                         I think I already mentioned that because of our super wet summer this year, my garden is in a permanent state of Spring...no complaints!

 The most beautiful flower of all, Ophelia Rose, helped me to find inspiring angles....

 Ken picked this tequila out for me a few days ago because he knows I love purple! He was spot on, I am obsessed with the gold tequila against the purple background. However, when I mixed this with mango margarita mix, it tasted horrible. Maybe because it's a gold tequila? Tequila drinkers, help me out!

 Ken, Theresa, and I finished our second puzzle in a day. Take that Kincade! And your 'master of light' scenic paintings!
